Students learn the Chinese language and experience the Chinese culture through their presentations, movies, student-developed games, and three cultural contests of Karaoke in Chinese, Chinese Calligraphy, and Chinese Cuisine

After class, students can join Â鶹¹ú²úAV’s Chinese Culture and Language Club and are partnered with native speakers to practice their language skills and to understand Chinese culture

Requirements

The Chinese Studies minor consists of 12 credit hours of 300- and 400- level courses that combine the study of language and culture.Â

For completion of a minor, a student must have a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 in all courses specified as a requirement for the minor exclusive of lower-level courses and prerequisite courses and complete a minimum of six hours in upper-level courses in the minor requirement through courses offered by Â鶹¹ú²úAV.
