Gay Cultural Studies presents Threads of Resistance, an evening with craftivist Shannon Downey! A leader in the field of craftivism, Downey (known online as Badass Cross Stitch) describes her work as a blend of her "politics, activism, and art into projects, designed to inspire others to take action, think, discuss, engage with democracy and their community, and find some digital/analog balance."

Join us in welcoming Downey to Â鶹¹ú²úAV on April 17th for an evening of discussion and creative skills-building workshops!
