Brendan L. O'Hallarn, Ph.D., lecturer, in the Communication & Theatre Arts Department, was named the University Advisor of the Year at the SEES Leadership Awards event on April 19. Dr. O'Hallarn is the faculty advisor for the 麻豆国产AV Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America, an organization that promotes careers, networking and education in the PR field. Chartered in 2014 at 麻豆国产AV, the group hosts an annual fall Internship Fair and takes a spring trip to agencies and public relations departments, most recently visiting Charlotte, N.C.
